White Wedding

It was a beautiful snowy winter day in December when my sister Anita said "I do" to Mike. Married in our fathers old church, she and Mike were joined together as one and it was a wonderful ceremony. They celebrated in a quaint lil cabin like reception area with family and friends. It was a fabulous celebration of love.

Happy 17th Birthday James

Meet James, 17 years old and handsome as could be. Sweetest personality and a wonderful heart. James turned 17 on October 3rd. He was born and raise in Louisville, and maybe thats why he is so loyal to his hometown team.

Besides football, James loves all sports. But football is his first love...for now. Watch out girls...James is single!!

James is working on High School diploma at the moment, but his long term goals are to either become a carpenter or a physical education instructor. Either way I think James has a bright future ahead of him. He is a smart, handsome and caring young man, and I look forward to seeing what he does in the future.

And the Winner of my September Free Photo Shoot is.....

Congratulations to Sherries1970 for being our September winner of a Free Photo Shoot!! I really enjoyed all the creative ideas for photo shoots that was submitted. But the one that really stuck out to me was Sherries1970's idea for a photo shoot at Zoneton  Fire Department in Bullitt County where she was the female cadet in 1986. It was her idea to return and do a photo shoot there with the existing firemen that she once worked along side in the 1980's. I'm excited to this shoot, because its important that we celebrate the HERO's that keep us safe and these are most definately HERO's in my eyes.

Princess Becky's Senior Photo Shoot

Wow! What an adventure, literally..Meet Becky. A beautiful young lady(somewhat of a tomboy) who wanted her senior photos to be completely unlike anyone else's. And you know  how I love to think outside of the box. Well we took a trip to the river and snapped a few shots. She beautiful soft complextion against the grains of the wood on the cabin( Louis and Clark, IN) was a brilliant idea. It was such a great day to explore the outdoors and venture off to who knows where.

Well truth be told, I knew where...the Louisville Zoo! And what an adventure that was. She was dressed in a georgous formal dress and the Louisville Zoo was the perfect place for this shoot.

She waltzed through the zoo with people staring, expressing how beautiful she looked. One even said she looked like a princess...I agree!

It was a pleasure shooting Becky's photos. She was an awesome model. A completely stunning young lady, and I encourage her to look into modeling.

A walk in the garden with Ayeva

Ayeva Lorriane Conn was born July 13th,  2010 and weighed in at 7lbs 8oz . A beautiful little baby girl, I wanted to make sure I gave her a wonderful photo session that made the mothers and grandmothers "Ooo" and "Aww" with joy!

Alyssa and Jerome(mom and dad) are such lucky parents to have such a healthy and happy baby girl. She smiled for me during this entire photo session. Was a nice surprise for just a week old newborn. Usually its a task to wait for a smile, but she just kept shining them on, like she knew she was having her photo taken.

Visit to the Farm

Well we visited my mother-in-laws horse farm in Carlisle Ky this pasted weekend for a family reunion. During which we decided to snap a few photos and use this as an opportunity for a beautiful scenic backdrop.

Aaron my youngest wanted to play in the hay stacks so we used that first. Always a perfect model, he smiles and poses and gives me that awesome innocent smile.

The farm is so beautiful. Overlapping hills of green and horses perfectly placed as though they knew exactly where to stand.
